4G phones and tablets – now and in the future

One of the newest and coolest new phones to come out recently is Sprint’s HTC Evo 4G phone. It is a ground breaking device that has great connectivity and can work as a mobile hotspot for multiple users up to 8 people. It has an HD camcorder and a camera.
This will be the phone that all the other future cellphones will want to emulate as far as features go.  Here’s a look at some of them.

They are able to tether users to one 4G phone for up to 8 people at a time. Both Verizon and AT&T are both launching new 4G phones that are similar. Soon, consumers will not need to pay more for a 3G/4G iPad tablet or any other tablets.

Next, all users will be able to share these mobile hotspots. You will be able to access someone else’s next to you. They will be able to use yours as well.

With 4G phones, you will not need that extra payment for cable or DSL connections anymore. It will be available to you through the hotspots.

The devices in different articles like clothing or eyeglasses can keep up with the state of your health, and your doctor can monitor the readouts to see how you are doing. Everything that you would have to go in for a doctor visit for can easily be observed via these devices. It is essentially telemedicine at its finest.

Video chats are available as an iPhone app known as FaceTime. The iPhone 4G phone users will only be able to access this on Wi-Fi at first because if they did not do so, the 4G phone usage would choke out the 3G completely. Perhaps a virtual-reality game would be the next most popular app to come out for these 4g phones.

The next big product launch may be the Android tablet against the iPad. There may be a new tablet in town for those who think Apple’s prices are too high. There was a study done of people who would consider buying a tablet. 53% would buy an Android if it were cheaper than an iPad. 32% would buy it if the carrier was Verizon. The main advantage of an iPad right now is that Apple has a much bigger selection of apps available.

In testing done by Google who developed Android, they showed that the new Android 2.2  Froyo phone outdid the Android 2.1. Not only that but it was faster several times over than the Apple iPad. Our world is producing new technology every minute it seems. Who knows what new things will be made in the next year or two? Some say maybe a 5G phone is possible, but let us worry about using our 4G phones for now.
